Well, im hoping the lack of posts in this forum doesn't mean you're not all still signed up to receive notices!!

We recently imported a S3800 from france (courtesy of someone who bought one from KLOcycle in Paris) and it has been working fine. Up until now! We can't get it started, and it was very sudden. It seems like the clutch is slipping. When the engine is down on the wheel, the grip wheel spins fine, however it won't turn the magneto or move the cylinder. If you remove the spark plug, it will sping fine (due to the lack of pressure i guess), and if you hold onto the "starter" switch, it will spin fine...however when you release the started switch the engine stops turning, and it sounds like the clutch goes back to slipping again!

If anyone could help me, that would be much appreciated. First of all i think i need to get the clutch unit out, so help on that would be much appreciated. And maybe a supplier (preferably english!) for replacements would be great! I'm also in need of replacements for my rear hub brake, the pads are down to the metal :S

Hallo, The best way is to disassemble the clutch, because it is possible that he is just loose on the driveshaft.
So take off the flywheel, loose the coilplate and push it off with a common puller. Now you see the clutch to inspect them
